An essential component to the development of our identity and voice is aligning ourselves with talented emerging writers. For writers, the opportunity to hear their writing read by accomplished actors can prove insightful. If desired, open discussion and feedback can follow any reading.

Individuals with a collaborative spirit and professional discipline who have skills in all areas of production are invited to submit resumes to The Collective for consideration for future productions. We are constantly forging new relationships and building our resource list in anticipation of the work to come.

For our stage productions, we need talented and committed directors, stage managers, technical designers, lighting designers, sound designers, set designers, choreographers, and others. For our film and video productions, we need talented and committed directors, DPs, PAs, grips, editors, sound crew, and others.

The Collective was borne out of the shared relationships and training of graduates of the William Esper Studio. Actors with a similar commitment to their craft are invited to submit headshots and resumes.

Diversity is an important part of our growth as a company of actors. We particularly encourage minority actors of all ethnicities and actors over 40 of all ethnicites who have demonstrated commitment to their craft through training and work experience to submit for consideration.

Artists of all disciplines are sought as part of the fabric of The Collective. If you are a painter, a sculptor, multimedia designer, graphic designer, dancer, acrobat or other artist with an idea about contributing to our next production, please contact us. Our primary focus will always be on the work of our actors. But we are excited about combining disciplines to create enhanced experiences for our audiences. It may take the shape of a gallery show in the lobby of our theater, or a sculpture as part of a set, or variety acts to create atmosphere... you name it.
