Peter and Janine have finally said the “L word” to each other. But what about the third person in their bed?
"The Brazilian Dilemma" is a published play written by William Ivor Fowkes. It premiered in 2013 as part of the inaugural Collective:10 ten-minute play festival, produced by The Collective NY. The play has now been adapted for the screen and is being produced as a comedic short film by an accomplished production team.
Our shoot wrapped on year ago in New York City. And we still need your help to finish the film!
Our base fundraising goal was $9,500. Thanks to you, we did it! This amount covered most of the costs to shoot the film, such as camera and equipment, transportation, fees for actors and crew, insurance, meals, etc. Those bills ahem long since been paid.
Once we passed our base goal,we took aim at our first stretch goal OF $12,000 which will allow us to cover post-production expenses such as editing, sound and color correction, music royalties, etc.
Our second stretch goal is $14,000 which will then allow us to cover unexpected post-production costs and also be applied toward festival submissions, entry fees and publicity.
