1 // URGENT ACTION NEEDED FOR NEW PHOTOSHOOT DATE:

  • IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED: 
    COMPANY PHOTOSHOOT IS NOW SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 4TH AND 5TH
    While we are finalizing C:10 plays and forming casts, we need to get a jump on photo assets for this year's C:10 and the website. ALL COMPANY MEMBERS SHOULD BE PHOTOGRAPHED (actors, writers, directors, designers, crew, etc.) regardless of your specific C:10 participation this year. Please complete your photoshoot availability ASAP by clicking the Doodle Poll link below!

    Last week we featured Collective member/writer Erin Mallon's play, THE NET WILL APPEAR, starring ensemble member Richard Masur, and the wrap of founding member Amy Schumer's movie "I Feel Pretty" produced by fellow founding member and co-artistic director Kevin Kane. This week we featured Kimberli Alexis Flores and the premiere of her movie "SHINE."

  • ARCHIVE CHALLENGE: THE 4TH COLLECTIVE:10 (2016)
    This week, we are looking for any pictures or other materials from our fourth C:10 festival, last year! This would include pictures from the plays themselves, as well as pictures of the Teatro Círculo theater, where the festival was held.

Please submit all materials to:  thecollectivearchive@gmail.com. Members can also upload photos any materials directly through the Member Portal.

 

2 // STAY UP-TO-DATE with MEMBER NEWS

  • "SHINE" made it's premiere on September 22nd at the Urban World Film Festival at the AMC Theatres-Empire 25. Featuring Ensemble Member Kimberli Alexis Flores! 

  • "Etymology" screened at the South Dakota Film Festival on September 23 featuring Collective Member Bettina Bilger. The film received a jury award for excellence in filmmaking, southdakotafilmfest.org

  • The award winning film "Second Chance" staring Ensemble Member Lacy Marie Myer is now available on iTunes, Amazon & Google Play!

  • Two of our Members appear on "The Deuce" airing Sundays on HBO, 9pm EST.
    Watch Ensemble Member Salvatore Inzerillo as Rolfe Herman. Season 1, Episode 2 "Show and Prove". Original air date: September 17,  2017 and Ensemble Member Khan Paul Baykal as Street Dealer. Season 1, Episode 3 "The Principle Is All". Original air date: September 24, 2017.

  • THE NET WILL APPEAR opened this week! The world premiere play is written by Collective member/writer Erin Mallon, stars ensemble member Richard Masur and is directed by Mark Cirnigliaro. THE NET WILL APPEAR runs through Oct 8 at Mile Square Theatre.

  • "Uncle Silas" was most recently accepted into the following festivals: 
    • Hell’s Half Mile Film & Music Festival in Bay City, MI, September 28-October 1, 2017
  • "Quick Fix" will screen at:
    • San Francisco International Festival of Short Films at the Roxie at 9:30pm October 7th
    • Orlando Film Festival, October 23, 2017, at 4pm
    • Fort Lauderdale, October 27-November 19, 2017

    REMINDER - Membership is keeping track of your AVAILABILITY. Are you out of town filming? Away for the summer? 
    Please EMAIL YOUR SCHEDULE so we can share up-to-date availability for the company. Let us be able to tell writers, development and outside producers when you are/aren't available. Send to: collectivemembership@gmail.com 
     
  • SUBMIT YOUR MEMBERSHIP MATERIALS
    Please submit your headshot, resume, other photos and requested material to Collectivemembership@gmail.com. We need everyone's cooperation so we can get our online presence up to date fast.
     
  • All membership updates need to be sent in by the Tuesday EOD deadline. If you do not submit by then it will go on the following week's newsletter (unless the date makes it obsolete). Members please report updates and "book out" by sending an email to collectivemembership@gmail.com

5 // GET SOME FACE TIME

  • The Collective Membership Committee weekly meeting is Mondays from 6-7pm, prior to the Monday session, in the Collective office. The doors are always open for any Member to participate. Ask questions, complain, compliment, give feedback, get more information about Collective activities, process, procedures, etc. -- anything. Check in with us.
